Flor expanded her knowledge by studying a semester abroad in France. Flor decided to open up her private practice to be able to focus more on helping breastfeeding moms specifically. Flor personally experienced hardships breastfeeding her babies, including lip and tongue ties, even when having already studied some lactation, and knows how helpful a Lactation Consultant can be. She is the founder of Blossom in Breastfeeding

As a Lactation Consultant, Flor helps moms achieve their breastfeeding goals assisting with tips and information for the mom and baby’s specific needs. Flor received her Bachelor of Sciences in Food Science and Human Nutrition, a few weeks later became a Certified Lactation Counselor, then began working for WIC (Women Infants and Children) helping moms and children with their nutrition goals including breastfeeding.

Flor Arroyo Camacho grew up in Tinley Park after moving from Mexico at a young age and continues to enjoy living in Tinley. Flor is a mother of three and enjoys dancing and singing with her children and bike riding through the forest preserve. Flor also enjoys looking out for deer, groundhogs, birds, and all other wildlife.
